2017 11 05 Lots of stuff went down

Well
... It’s been a good week, not a lot went down but it was fun.

Monday (月 Getsu 曜日yobi):
Today we did a lot of running around and buying cleaning supplies because we have a cleaning check coming up, FHE was fun and Furusho (the member who runs it) asked us to come over early to help cleaning and then for the lesson he talked about helping others, way good.

Ghosts

Tuesday (火 Moku 曜日yobi):
We woke up way early to get on a bus going to Fukuoka because we had a huge 大会 (tai kai - conference) and we talked a lot about sincerely loving the people, way good. Then we spent the time we had left after getting back cleaning because our apartment is kinda bad. We did some 伝道 (Dendo - tracting) I think the morning and then spent the afternoon cleaning. In the evening we had a fun Eikaiwa (English conversation class) class, it was just normal actually.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):
No report.

Ghosts

Thursday (木 Moku 曜日yobi):
We had our cleaning check by the Henerys (Elder and Sister Henry???). So, they are know throughout the entire mission as being way strict on their cleaning check and they were but they are way cool people.

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):
Today we had a way cool lesson with Hiro and he is way cool. Then we fixed 姉妹 (shimai - sister) bikes and that took a while, there was also a big seminar conference going on and I was able to meet some people from Sendai, I was way happy. In the evening we found a bunch more about our area and talked to a way cool Grandpa who knows a ton of English. Then we went to go and teach Fujimoto but, he wasn’t home, it was a sad day.

MaKuDoNaRuDoSu

Oh, look, our bikes fell

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):
Today was 巡回 (junkai - patrol / splits), but we did our weekly planning and that was a necessity. Me and Barlow went to visit a guy that they had contacted over the phone and he let Barlow play the cello and then he said he had a violin and it was way cool to be able to play it again.

Sunday (日 nichi 曜日yobi):
We had stake conference and it was way hard to understand Japanese but was way cool. Afterward.....a ton of missionaries came over to our apartment and we all had lunch, the portions were way small but it was way fun. The last thing we did before heading home is we visited a member Usui and had a meal with him, his wife, their newborn son, a member and Furusho (the member who runs FHE) and it was way good and they are such a cool family.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):
Eikaiwa (English conversation class)  was interesting and we also passed an investigator to the 熊本 (Kumamoto - it’s where he’s serving) 長老たち (choro Tatchi - elders) and it was an interesting lesson.

Lyman fell over during studies

Thursday (木 Moku 曜日yobi):
Today had a good weekly planning and talked to some cool people in the evening.

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):
Today we had a lesson with Suwa, the last one because sadly he wasn’t keeping commitments and we couldn’t teach him, it was a bit sad. Then we bought a ton of cleaning supplies for this upcoming cleaning check. Then we helped the sisters clean their investigator’s apartment, it was pretty bad.

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):
Today we had a lesson with Hiro, and we had a crazy deep lesson about the atonement, thank goodness that we had a member present to answer his questions because we couldn’t. So, I’ve been feeling a bit sick so, I slept from lunch till about dinner and it felt great. Then we had sports night and it was way fun.

I got bored on family and found this

Sunday (日 nichi 曜日yobi):

It’s been interesting
...Well, it HAS been an interesting week, transfers was interesting, we did nothing different until we had to go and pick them up.

Monday (月 Getsu 曜日yobi):

Tuesday (火 Moku 曜日yobi):
It was an interesting day. Pday was good and after that we went to go to a RA that we had but sadly her mom told us to go away, way sad. So, we had some extra time so, we decided to visit the drunk guy from a couple weeks ago and he was there and so was his friend. We ended up teaching them the WoW, LoC and tithing and then they said that they would come to church, way cool but kinda awkward.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):
Today we had a meal with a member and after shared a message. It was way fun because their granddaughter was there and by the time we had to leave, we were great friends, lots of fun. It also rained a ton that day.

Eikaiwa is English class

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):
In the morning we 伝道 (Dendo - tracting)  nearby the church and then the 姉妹 (shimai - sister) needed us to fix their bike and then in the afternoon we fixed the other 姉妹 (shimai - sister) bike and then we did weekly planning. In the evening before we had our lesson with 藤本(Fujimoto - it’s a last name), we 伝道 (Dendo - tracting)  some apartments and found this way cool lady, Miyoji, and we talked with her and gave her a BOM and set up a time to come back, it was way cool. The lesson with 藤本(Fujimoto - it’s a last name) was way cool, we taught him about prayer and it was way cool.

it says, "Kawaii?" translated to "Cute?"

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):
Today we met with ひろ (Hiro - proper name) in the morning and had a good lesson with him. In the afternoon we went to the Halloween party, it was pretty cool. In the evening, we were 伝道 (Dendo - tracting)  by the church and then the 姉妹 (shimai - sister) called us over to fix their bikes, again.

Spencer with Elder Kai Barlow
*Note from Dad - These two met in the MTC, but Kai's Father and I were in the same apartment together during our mission in Sendai. Like Fathers like sons...

Sunday (日 nichi 曜日yobi):

Today was a weird Sunday, we didn’t go to the 熊本 (Kumamoto)’s DCS (missionary coordination meeting??) because there is now 熊本 (Kumamoto) 長老 (choro - elder) and that was new. Church was good, it got way windy during church. We went to visit a investigator and right as we got there, he dropped us and that was pretty sad but, we helped the 長嶺 (Nagamine - another city) 姉妹 (shimai - sister) investigator take out her trash.
