2017 10 22 Yep, Transfers

It’s been interesting ...Well, it HAS been an interesting week, transfers was interesting, we did nothing different until we had to go and pick them up.

Monday (月 Getsu 曜日yobi):

Tuesday (火 Moku 曜日yobi):

It was an interesting day. Pday was good and after that we went to go to a RA that we had but sadly her mom told us to go away, way sad. So, we had some extra time so, we decided to visit the drunk guy from a couple weeks ago and he was there and so was his friend. We ended up teaching them the WoW, LoC and tithing and then they said that they would come to church, way cool but kinda awkward.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):

Today we had a meal with a member and after shared a message. It was way fun because their granddaughter was there and by the time we had to leave, we were great friends, lots of fun. It also rained a ton that day.

Thursday (木 Moku 曜日yobi):

We picked up Barlow長老 (choro - elder) and Nakata長老 (choro - elder) in the afternoon then we had a little bit of a planning meeting with them and the 熊本 (Kumamoto - it’s where he’s serving) 姉妹 (shimai - sister) and that was good.  

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):

In the morning we 伝道 (Dendo - tracting)  nearby the church and then the 姉妹 (shimai - sister) needed us to fix their bike and then in the afternoon we fixed the other 姉妹 (shimai - sister) bike and then we did weekly planning. In the evening before we had our lesson with 藤本(Fujimoto - it’s a last name), we 伝道 (Dendo - tracting)  some apartments and found this way cool lady, Miyoji, and we talked with her and gave her a BOM and set up a time to come back, it was way cool. The lesson with 藤本(Fujimoto - it’s a last name) was way cool, we taught him about prayer and it was way cool.

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):

Today we met with ひろ (Hiro - proper name) in the morning and had a good lesson with him. In the afternoon we went to the Halloween party, it was pretty cool. In the evening, we were 伝道 (Dendo - tracting)  by the church and then the 姉妹 (shimai - sister) called us over to fix their bikes, again.

Sunday (日 nichi 曜日yobi):

Today was a weird Sunday, we didn’t go to the 熊本 (Kumamoto)’s DCS (missionary coordination meeting??) because there is now 熊本 (Kumamoto) 長老 (choro - elder) and that was new. Church was good, it got way windy during church. We went to visit a investigator and right as we got there, he dropped us and that was pretty sad but, we helped the 長嶺 (Nagamine - another city) 姉妹 (shimai - sister) investigator take out her trash.

2017 10 16 The End of Another one

Well, it’s transfers ...and me and Elder Lyman we’ll be staying together another one and 2 more elders are going to be coming in, Elder Nakata and Elder Barlow!!!!!! Ya, it’s going to be a fun next transfer. And here is how my week,

Monday (月 Getsu 曜日yobi):

Today FHE was way fun.

Tuesday (火 Moku 曜日yobi):

Today we had a cool mini lesson with a random lady we met during 伝道 (Dendo - tracting) and she was way cool, we were able to give her a BOM and set a RA with her.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):

Normally we do weekly planning on Thursday but, since we are doing 巡回 (junkai - patrol / splits) on Thursday, we did it today and the we had weekly planning.

Thursday (木 Moku 曜日yobi):

We had a fun 巡回 (junkai - patrol / splits) today with Miyano会長 (choro - elder).

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):

Today we did a 模擬 (mogi - mock/practice) lesson with a member and he is way chill. Then in the evening we met with Fujimotoさん (san - “Mr” / “Mrs”) but had to leave because we had to pick up Elder Miranda.

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):

伝道 (Dendo - tracting) ALL DAY and then had sports night in the evening, way fun.

Sunday (日 nichi 曜日yobi):

Church then we went over to the Filipino’s house and had an FHE and it was wayyyy fun. Monday, we met a investigator who we hadn’t been able to meet with for a while and then in the evening we helped a member clean his house and then had a 食事 (shokuji - meal) and FHE, way fun.

2017 10 08 Lots to do

Hey Y’all, ...it’s been an interesting week and I actually wasn’t able to 伝道 (Dendo - tracting) in Nagamine until Friday, it was interesting.

Monday (月 Getsu 曜日yobi):

Today we went shopping with the 姉妹 (shimai - sister) and we got a little bit bored so, we made our own fun. There is also a ToysRus so, we checked that out. Then we had FHE again tonight but, it was only the missionaries and the member in charge but it was still fun.

Today we had district meeting and after that we went down to Yatsushiro for 巡回 (junkai - patrol / splits) until Thursday and that was way cool.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):

Today we came back from splits in Yatsushiro and went straight to Eikaiwa (English conversation class) which was pretty fun.

Thursday (木 Moku 曜日yobi):

Well today we had a cleaning check, weekly planning and then went to a 食事 (shokuji - meal) with the Sopu family, (some Tongan members) and it was way cool.

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):

Today we taught Suwa in the morning and we may be dropping him because we can’t teach him because he goes on too many tangents then we had a lesson with Tamura and that was way fun. After him we went to go teach Fujimoto and it went from a lesson to a lot of BRT (Building Relationships of Trust) but it was cool to talk with him.

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):

General Conference was way good today. Karisoko came for the afternoon session so, we watched it in Japanese and I didn’t understand very much but it was cool.

Sunday (日 nichi 曜日yobi):

Today was also mostly general conference and we had a lesson with Ueda in the evening but when we went over he said he couldn’t talk, so we 伝道 (Dendo - tracting) near our apartment. I really liked the talk about being in unity talk, I forgot who it was but I thought it was way good. Also, something that I got out of Conference is to daily read the Book of Mormon and I challenge all of you to do the same.

2017 10 01 🐢

HAHAHahahahaha... ... The Turtle has absolutely no meaning, I was just bored and wanted to find something interesting to put for the subject line. This was an interesting week, we didn’t have a ton of time for 伝道 (Dendo - tracting) but it was a good week

Monday (月 Getsu 曜日yobi):

Fun day, we went bowling as most of the district then went to a way pretty nearby park. In the evening we went to help out a member and fixed his bike and then we did FHE with him, way fun.

伝道 (Dendo - tracting) all day and in the evening we set a RA with a cool dad.

Wednesday (水 Sui 曜日yobi):

Rainy day, we basically talked to nobody most of the day but Eikaiwa (English conversation class) was fun.

Thursday (木 Moku 曜日yobi):

Weekly planning and we got a call from the Sisters asking us to give a blessing to a member who was just put into a hospital pretty close to the church and that was a cool experience. Then we went to go pick people up for 面接 (mensetsu - interview) and that took up the rest of the evening.

Friday (金 Kin 曜日yobi):

面接 (mensetsu - interview) was fun, me and Elder Lyman had to go get the Egan’s lunch so, the morning was spent running around but it was fun. Then we went to the RA that we set on Tuesday and we were able to meet with him, he was way cool. We mainly just talked about why we are here and his expectations and when we asked if we could come back he said sure.

Saturday (土 do 曜日yobi):

Talked with Hiro in the morning and he is way cool, he taught us a little about how to write Kanji. Then we went to go order some bike parts for Elder Lyman’s bike and we had to go to a pretty far place to do that. Then we helped the sisters with one of their investigator. We basically just carried all of her laundry to a laundry place and helped put there. Then we went and played some volleyball with her and some members, it was pretty fun.

Fast Sunday, pretty fun. We broke our fast by eating some steaks, way good. Then we taught a lesson to an investigator we got from the Kumamoto Sisters and it was a pretty good lesson. Then we went over to a member’s house and visited with him.
