2018 Mar 25 - I am Okay, Bruised but, Okay

 Yep, I’m okay, I got in a car accident on Monday, the car wasn’t going very fast but, it left some pretty interesting bruising. Other than that Monday was pretty fun, went to round 1 with most of the District. Tuesday, District Meeting was fun. Afterwards had 巡回 with Elder Campbell (not my MTC comp) and Elder Bodily. Still rainy. Wednesday, finished 巡回 and then had Eikaiwa. Thursday, a lot of 伝道, we found a mom and 2 kids and don’t know quit how it started but, I ended up playing with the kids and Elder Takaku was teaching the mom, sadly doesn’t have a bunch of time to met but, it was fun. Friday, had a Ra that we went to and he had no interest, which was really sad. Saturday, had a Sports Activity with the young men and it was way fun, I’m still a little bit sore from it. Then I interviewed one of the Kagoshima sisters’ investigator to see if they were ready for baptism and they passed. Way interesting experience, doing a baptismal interview. Sunday, church was fun, had a 食事会 right afterwards. Our lesson with Tsunamaki was way good, turns out we got his name wrong, it’s TsunaWaki, thanks 姉妹たち. But, it was a way good lesson. Then we went to go visit a member and it was a good visit.

2018 Mar 18 - Busy Week

 This week was pretty busy. Monday, we went and played a bunch of sports with everyone in the district then rode the Ferris wheel and that was pretty cool. Tuesday, climbed up a giant mountain to get to the Kagoshima church to have mensetsus and it was fun. Afterwards we started Junkais with the ZLs and that was a ton of fun. Wednesday, finished up junkais and went to Eikaiwa. Thursday, had our cleaning check, passed and got ride of a chair, great trade. Then we tried to do a sports activity but, everyone was late and the person we was bringing the ball didn’t show up until the very end. Friday, bikes to a really far area for evening 伝道 and accidentally met the mom of a member and found a cool single mother. Saturday, morning Eikaiwa was fun, had a lesson with a recent convert right after it. We were able to talk to a lot of youth during the afternoon, it was a ton of fun because they are a lot cooler and more receptive than old people, even if they don’t have interest. Then we had a bit of a 突然 lesson with a LA and it was way good. Sunday, District Conference (because Kagoshima isn’t a stake) and it was way good. I was able to see a lot of people from Sendai and it was super cool talking to them, they all basically told me to come back. When we got to the church there was a random dude there and he has mental problems, and they are really bad. I don’t know the entire story but, he is not a same person. For that reason we grabbed the Sisters bikes and took them to their apartment. Then a little bit later we had a lesson with ツナマキさん and it was good, we talked with him and we all agreed we should push back his baptism date to the 5/13. It was a pretty good lesson.

2018 Mar 11 - It's Spring and Still Freezing

 Hello fam and friends it’s been a crazy busy week. Tuesday we went up to Kumamoto for a 大会 and it was a way good one, it was a little weird to be back there. But, it’s kind of far so, it literally took up the entire day with traveling there and then back. Wednesday, so our air conditioners were pretty bad, a lot of mold in them. I didn’t know how bad a mold was before the mission but, I can tell you this, it can get deadly. But, we had them clean and that was great. Afterwards we went over to an investigator’s house and had a lesson and set a baptism date with him, his name is ツナマキ. Thursday, we planned to play some sports with some la but they were pretty slow so, we ended up talking to them. Friday, visited a LA with the sisters and had a good time. Afterwards we accidentally found an old Eikaiwa student, Azuma, really old Eikaiwa student but, because her family got busy she couldn’t come to Eikaiwa. Saturday, only one person came to Eikaiwa and in the evening we tried to visit a family but, they were busy and couldn’t talk. Sunday, church was good, after that had a lot of meeting. Then we had another lesson with ツナマキ and it went pretty good.

2018 Mar 4 - What's Up?

Hello family and friends!! It’s been an interesting week here in Kagoshima(Taniyama is like a city block on the out skirts of the main city) and has been really windy and rainy most of this week. Also, my cousin got his mission call, he going to Indonesia. I’m way excited for him and all but, he’s leave June 6, couldn’t he have waited September before leaving? 

Monday, nice relax day and 伝道. 

Tuesday, do to the ZLs and STLs being gone we didn’t have District Meeting. 

Wednesday, Eikaiwa was fun, it was also raining pretty hard.  Thursday, first district meeting and my first training, it was fun. Friday, crazy windy. Also, we met this way cool young family, we were talking with the mom for a while then the dad stuck his head out of the bathroom and instead of telling us to go away he says “remember me?” Turns out we gave him a BOM on Tuesday and it seems like him and his wife have some interest or are willing to listen. Saturday, also rainy,  had Eikaiwa in the morning and after class we ended up teaching our students a simple PoS it was interesting. Then we went over to a PI’s house with the intent to teach English and a lesson but, they wanted to feed us and that also took a lot of time and they had to go so, we didn’t get to do either. They must have given me something weird because after that meal I haven’t been feeling very good. Had FHE, not many people came because of the rain but, it was fun. Sunday, fasting was fun. After church we helped with a lot of home teaching, then we went with the 姉妹 to a investigator that they were passing and he is way cool. After that I 頑張った but, had to go home a bit early because I really wasn’t feeling good.
